Medicine Recycling
The Collective System for the Management of Household Pharmaceutical Products, under the trade name MediCycle, was established under the Waste (Management of Waste from Household Pharmaceutical Products) Regulations of 2023 (P.I. 80/2023). These regulations mandate that importers and producers of pharmaceutical products must manage household pharmaceutical waste across the entire territory of Cyprus in an environmentally responsible manner.
MediCycle’s primary goal is the collection and management of pharmaceutical products that are no longer suitable for use by consumers.
